BLANKET WARMER TERHADAP PENINGKATAN SUHU TUBUH PASIENPASCA OPERASI

Every surgical procedure performed can cause various problems or bodily complaints such as pain, malnutrition, wound dehiscence, post-operative ileus, and can lead to hypothermia. In addition, during the surgical procedure, anesthesia is required to eliminate all sensations of pain, touch and temperature. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Blanket Warmer on increasing the body temperature of post-operative patients in the recovery room at Raja Ahmad Tabib Tanjungpinang Hospital. This type of research was a pre-experimental design or quasiexperimental design with pre and post designs given to respondents after treatment. This planning model was to carry out observations twice, there were before the experiment and after the experiment. The body temperature value before and after the Blanket Warmer was applied to post-operative treatment patients obtained was a pre-test body temperature of 100% with a hypothermic body temperature and a post-test value of 100% normal body temperature with a p value of 0.001. The result showed that there was a significant influence of the Blanket Warmer on increasing the body temperature of post-operative patients in the recovery room at Raja Ahmad Tabib Tanjungpinang Hospital 2023.
