Turnover intention is a serious problem in human resource management in hospitals because it can reduce service stability and increase operational costs. One factor influencing turnover intention is job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention among nurses at Mitra Medika Hospital. This study used a descriptive correlational approach with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was all 142 nurses at Mitra Medika Hospital, with a sample size of 105 respondents drawn using probability sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted using the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) questionnaire and a turnover intention questionnaire adapted from Mobley's (1982) theory. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods using the Chi-Square test at a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05). The results showed that the majority of nurses had a good level of job satisfaction (53 respondents (50.5%), and 77 respondents (73.3%) had a low level of turnover intention. The Chi-Square test results showed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention among nurses at Mitra Medika Hospital. The conclusion of this study is that the higher the level of job satisfaction among nurses, the lower their turnover intention. Hospital management is recommended to improve job satisfaction through rewards, career development, and creating a comfortable work environment to reduce turnover intention among nurses.
