The DASH diet (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) is a meal plan to reduce or control high blood pressure, the DASH diet focuses on foods lower in sodium and foods rich in potassium, magnesium, calcium and nutrients that help lower blood pressure. Blood pressure refers to the pressure experienced by the arteries when blood is pumped by the heart throughout the human body, blood pressure in the arterial system varies with the cardiac cycle, namely peaking at systole and decreasing at diastole. The type of research used is quantitative research using a cross- sectional analytical study design with the aim of this study, namely to determine the Relationship of DASH Diet Compliance (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) to Increased Blood Pressure in Hypertension Patients in Bubun Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency in 2024. In this study, the sampling technique was carried out by taking 15% of the population, namely 10% of 314 = 41 people. The results of the hypothesis test to see the relationship between variable X and variable Y are with a significant level (α) = 5% (0.05) and df = 1 obtained the result asymp.sig = 0.000 at df = 1 where sig <α (0.000 <0.05) then H0 is rejected so it can be concluded There is a Relationship between DASH Diet Compliance (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) and Increased Blood Pressure in Hypertension Patients in Bubun Village, Tanjung Pura District, LAngkat Regency in 2024. The results of this study are expected for respondents, especially those with hypertension, to maintain good compliance with the DASH diet so that increased blood pressure remains well controlled
