Long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) such as implants and intrauterine devices (IUDs) are considered more effective, efficient, and sustainable. However, the use of LARCs is still relatively low compared to short-term contraceptive methods, which is caused by various factors, one of which is the level of acceptor satisfaction with the method used. This study aims to compare the satisfaction of acceptors of implant and IUD contraceptive users at the Karang Rejo Community Health Center, Tarakan City, by reviewing several service aspects such as the reliability of health workers, measurability of procedures, safety assurance, empathy, and speed of service response. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 70 respondents selected by purposive sampling, 35 each for implant users and 35 for IUD users. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that the median satisfaction level of IUD users was 94, while for implant users it was 91, with a p-value of 0.810 indicating no significant difference. Nevertheless, descriptively, IUD users tended to report higher levels of satisfaction. This finding provides important insights for family planning service providers to continuously improve service quality, particularly in terms of information provision, active communication, and empathy toward users
