Lumbar spinal stenosis is a narrowing of the spinal canal or intervertebral foramen in the lower back, accompanied by compression of the nerve roots exiting the intervertebral foramen. Lumbar spinal stenosis is a common problem found in the elderly and is a degenerative disease of the spine. At this stage there is a decrease in muscle function and strength, resulting in a decrease in the ability to maintain body balance. This is closely related to pain which causes muscle weakness in the lower extremities, thereby increasing the risk of falls. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Otago exercise in reducing the risk of falls in sufferers of lumbar spinal stenosis. The method used was quasi-experimental with a sample of 30 people. The duration of Otago training is 4 days. Based on the results of implementing the Otago Exercise, it was found that there was a reduction in the risk of falls using the TUGT observation sheet. Conclusion: The application of Otago exercise can reduce the risk of falls in patients with lumbar spinal canal stenosis. It is hoped that future researchers can continue this research by using case and control groups or by increasing the number of samples
