In the healthcare sector, for example, the effective implementation of interprofessional collaboration (IPC) relies heavily on appropriate and systematic communication, such as the use of the SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) method. This study used a Pre-experimental research design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted at the Bengkalis Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Riau Province. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and the intervention provided was Inhouse training. The instrument was designed to assess the level of and Coordination. The results can be concluded convincingly that there is a significant influence of the implementation of the Effective Communication Model on the quality of Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) implementation at Bengkalis Regional General Hospital. One way to detect the normality of data can be done with the Kolmogorov- Smirnov normality test. The statistical test showed a Z value of -3.419 with a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). According to statistical decision-making criteria, According to statistical decision-making criteria, if the significance value is less than 0.05, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that the application of an effective communication model that encompasses aspects of message clarity, feedback, empathy, and openness has been proven to provide a structured framework for healthcare workers' interactions. The use of techniques such as SBAR and TBaK is a key component in minimizing barriers to interprofessional communication.
