Abstract

Common complications in hemodialysis patients are fluctuations in blood pressure during the hemodialysis process, either an increment or diminish in blood weight. This think about points to recognize contrasts in systolic blood weight in hemodialysis patients who have comorbid hypertension and diabetes mellitus at RS-BLUD Tanjungpinang City. The comparative research method with a total sample of 40 individuals (each group consisting of 20 respondents) using consecutive sampling techniques. The measuring instruments used were sphygmomanometer instruments and observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out using the Independent T test. The results of the study showed that the mean value of systolic blood pressure with comorbid hypertension after hemodialysis was 186.15 mmHg, and diabetes mellitus 153.20 mmHg, p value 0.001 (<0.05) significantly different systolic blood pressure in hemodialysis patients with comorbid hypertension and diabetes mellitus. It is recommended that nurses be more intensive in monitoring the blood pressure of hemodialysis patients and the factors that influence it.
