About the Journal

The Al-Tamimi Kesmas: Journal of Public Health was founded in 2012 and is a journal published by Institut Kesehatan dan Teknologi Al Insyirah based on the need and importance of Public Health Science. This journal was published in printed media and obtained the ISSN (2338-2147) with a decree number. 005.0251/JI.3.2/SK.ISSN/2013.04 which is published twice a year. Due to technological developments, Institut Kesehatan dan Teknologi Al Insyirah also published this journal in online media starting from the edition of Volume 7, Number 2, December 2018 and obtained ISSN (2654-6485) with SK number 0005.26546485 /JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2018.11 on the date 05 November 2018. On 11 February 2019, the Al-Tamimi Kesmas journal website underwent a change to https://jurnal.ikta.ac.id/kesmas/submissions (previously http://www.jurnal.alinsyirah.ac.id/index.php/kesmas). This journal has been accredited SINTA 5 through the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 164/E/KPT/2021 concerning the Ranking of Scientific Journal Accreditation Period II of 2021. The SINTA 5 accreditation ranking is valid from Volume 8 Number 2 of 2019 to Volume 13 Number 1 of 2024. As of December 29, 2022, based on the decree of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology with number 939/E/O/2022, STIKes Al Insyirah Pekanbaru has transformed into the Al Insyirah Health Technology Institute, thus the publisher of this journal has changed to the Al Insyirah Health Technology Institute and there has been a change in the journal template.
