Postpartum vitamin A deficiency puts mothers at risk of disease. Postpartum mothers need high doses of vitamin A. Postpartum vitamin A supplementation has many benefits for mothers, such as increasing breast milk production, increasing infant immunity, and allowing maternal health to recover faster. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence vitamin A intake in postpartum mothers. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach. The population was postpartum mothers and the number of samples was 99 people. The technique used was quota sampling and data collection using a questionnaire instrument, then analyzed by the chi-square test. The results showed that the factors that influenced vitamin A intake were education (p value=0.000), parity (p value=0.000), knowledge (p value=0.000) and attitude (p value=0.037). Suggestions for postpartum mothers are expected to increase their knowledge about the importance of vitamin A for their health and their babies. Postpartum mothers should try to implement a balanced and nutritious diet and participate in counseling programs held by health centers or health institutions.
