This condition can negatively impact Hajj pilgrims, including reduced physical condition and fatigue, which may in turn trigger anxiety. This study aims to determine the relationship between anxiety levels and the intensity of Tahajud prayer among Hajj pilgrims with hypertension in Yogyakarta. The research uses a descriptive-analytical approach with a cross-sectional method. Data were collected from Hajj pilgrims registered at KBIH (Islamic and Hajj Information Office) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The instruments used were the DASS-42 questionnaire to measure anxiety levels and a Tahajud prayer intensity instrument to measure the frequency of Tahajud prayer. The statistical analyses employed included univariate and bivariate analyses. The majority of respondents (94.7%) had normal anxiety levels, while 5.3% experienced mild anxiety. Regarding Tahajud prayer intensity, most respondents (84.2%) had low intensity, while 15.8% had high intensity. However, bivariate analysis did not find a significant relationship between anxiety levels and the intensity of Tahajud prayer among Hajj pilgrims in Yogyakarta. Although no significant relationship was found, the results of this study may provide important information for health promotion and comprehensive management of Hajj pilgrims with hypertension.
