Abstract

Mental Health (according to WHO). Is a condition of individual mental well-being that is able to use their capacity optimally including in dealing with stressful situations in life, able to work efficiently, and able to make a positive contribution to their environment, Health problems are one of the health focuses that must be addressed immediately by the Indonesian government. The most common mental health problems are bipolar with 60 million cases, dementia with 47.5 million cases, depression with 35 million cases and schizophrenia with 21 million cases, the study was interested in making a residency report entitled Promotive and Preventive Efforts for Mental Health. The research method is a qualitative design with a descriptive design and using thematic analysis. the author found several problems in the Langsat Health Center, Pekanbaru City, namely: a. Low Coverage of Early Detection of Mental Health Disorders, b. Community Stigma About Mental Health, c. The absence of health promotion education media, d. Limited Facilities and Infrastructure, e. Lack of prevention and health promotion programs.
