Malaria is the most important parasitic infectious disease in the world, with an estimated one billion people at risk of contracting the disease. Galesong District, Takalar Regency, is a coastal area, due to the area's environmental conditions, which are mostly swampy, providing potential breeding grounds for Anopheles mosquitoes. Overall, malaria cases have been found in Galesong District for three consecutive years, with a population at risk of 5,611. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between behaviors to avoid Anopheles mosquito bites and malaria incidence. This study was an observational study using a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted in Pa'lalakang Village, Galesong District. The sample size was 140 respondents, selected using SPSS software. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results of this study indicate that the variables of mosquito net use, wire netting, mosquito repellent use, nighttime outdoor habits, and long-sleeved clothing are not associated with malaria incidence, with a Ho value of p > 0.05. Although there is no significant relationship, efforts to prevent Anopheles mosquito bites still need to be increased through education, environmental management and integrated vector control
