EFEKTIVITAS PEMBERIAN KURMA DAN EKSTRAK MADU TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA REMAJA PUTRI DENGAN ANEMIA DI KARANG TARUNA DESA CIHIDEUNG KABUPATEN BANDUNG BARAT TAHUN 2025

Background: Adolescents during puberty are the most prone to anemia. This is due to many factors that affect it, one of which is the loss of iron during menstruation, in addition to being exacerbated by the lack of nutrient and iron intake that is needed by the body to help the growth and development process. The survey results found that anemia can cause stunting, so it needs serious treatment because 1 in 4 adolescent girls suffer from anemia. Research Objective: To analyze the effectiveness of kurna and honey extract in increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescents in Cihideung village in 2024. Research Method: Quantitative research with experimental research method and using a Two Group Pretest-Posttest research design. Sampling was done using the Purposive Sampling Technique on 30 respondents. Research Results: The results of the study found that the average hemoglobin level in adolescents with anemia after being given dates was 12.807 gr/dL with a standard deviation of 0.6216 gr/dL, while the average hemoglobin level of adolescents with anemia after being given honey was 12.173 gr/dL with a standard deviation of 0.1422 gr/dL. The results of the statistical test using the Independent T Test obtained a value of p = 0.006, where p < 0.05, so that there was a significant difference in the average hemoglobin level in adolescents with anemia between the date and honey groups. Conclusion: dates are more effective in increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescents with anemia in Cihideung village in 2024.
