PENGARUH PEMBERIAN LABU KUNING TERHADAP ANEMIA REMAJA PUTRI DI WILAYAH KERJA UPT PUSKESMAS SAPALA

Supplementation with iron tablets and increasing consumption of foods that contain lots of iron and complete nutrition can help young women avoid iron deficiency anemia. Several studies show that consuming yellow pumpkin can help fulfill the nutritional status of young women. The aim of the research is to identify the effect of giving yellow pumpkin on anemia in adolescent girls. Quasi-experimental research, with a one group pretest-posttest design. A sample of 20 young women in the UPT Puskesmas Sapala working area, using a cluster random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using a dependent t test or what is called a paired t test. The pretest score was 20 people (100%) had anemia. Post test scores were 8 people (40.0%) who had anemia and 12 people (60.0%) who did not have anemia. The results of the influence analysis p value 0.000 < α 0.05 and the calculated t value 6.850 > t table 2.086. There is an effect of giving yellow pumpkin on anemia among young women in the Sapala Health Center UPT Working Area in 2023. In the Sapala Community Health Center UPT Working Area in 2023, it is hoped to develop a training program on the use of yellow pumpkin such as making cookies, wet cakes and drinks made from it. Yellow pumpkin can be consumed every day to prevent and treat anemia
