PENGARUH PEMBERIAN BUAH KURMA TERHADAP KENAIKAN HEMOGLOBIN IBU HAMIL ANEMIA

Anemia is a disease characterized by low levels of hemoglobin, hematocrit and the number of erythrocytes in the blood. Dates can increase serum iron (Fe) in the body. To determine the effect of giving dates on the increase in hemoglobin in pregnant women with anemia at the Tumbang Jutuh Community Health Center. This study used a quasi-experimental method to determine the effect of giving dates on the increase in hemoglobin in anemic pregnant women between a treatment group of 10 people and a control group of 10 people. The average hemoglobin level before treatment was 9.87 gr/dl and after treatment was 12,950 gr/dl. The paired t-test shows a p value of 0.000, which means there is an effect of giving dates on increasing hemoglobin levels in anemic pregnant women. Meanwhile, in the control group that did not receive treatment, the average hemoglobin level in the control group at the initial measurement (before) was 10,210 gr/dl and at the second measurement (after) was 10,430 gr/dl. The paired t-test showed a p value of 0.893, which means there was no difference in the hemoglobin levels of anemic pregnant women in the control group. There is an effect of giving dates on increasing hemoglobin levels in anemic pregnant women.
