Abstract

The problem of malnutrition has now become a very complicated problem and deserves to be made a priority by the government. This shows that there is an increase in the number of malnutrition and malnutrition every year from 2013 to 2018). Knowing the Relationship between Giving MP-ASI and Nutritional Status in Children Aged 6-24 months at the Tumbang Talaken Community Health Center. This research is an observational study with a cross sectional design. This design was chosen because the subjects were only observed once and variable measurements were carried out at that time. Giving MP-ASI to children aged 6-24 months found that only 50% of respondents or 15 mothers were correct in giving it. The results of identifying the nutritional status of children aged 6-24 months showed that the nutritional status of children aged 6-24 months was mostly in the good nutrition category, namely 21 children (70%). Mother's Characteristics Data obtained on the most age characteristics were aged 12-24 months, namely 18 children (60%). There is a relationship between giving complementary foods and nutritional status in children aged 6-24 months as seen from the p-value of 0.012 < 0.05. Research shows that there is a significant relationship between giving MP-ASI to the nutritional status of children aged 6-24 months
